(25.11.2017): Digital tablets keep county inmates occupied, quieter

When Dan Naef, a corrections corporal at the Kenosha County Detention Center, first heard inmates at the center would be given touch-screen tablets, he thought it was a crazy idea.

“I did,” Naef said, nodding his head. But since inmates and detainees at the center were issued the tablets early this year, he has changed his mind.

“It’s gotten quieter,” Naef said of the detention center. “It keeps them more occupied.”
